Accessibility at Marys In The Park
What if i loose my VIP Wristband?

The VIP wristbands are designed to remain on at all times, if you loose it or cut it off it will NOT be replaced so please treat them with care.

Whats the age limit and do I need ID?

Everyone coming to Mary’s In The Park must possess a valid identification document for entry. This requirement is not merely related to ticketing but is legally mandated. It is important to note that even if you possess a valid ticket, entry will not be granted without proper identification. Mary’s In The Park is an 18+ event.

The following forms of identification will be accepted:

Current driver’s license or learner’s permit
Current proof of age card
Current passport

What time does it start and finish?

Mary’s In The Park takes place on Saturday 4th November.

Doors open at 2pm and last entry is 9pm – the event concludes at 10pm – when the official afterparties will kick in! (Afterparty information coming soon)

Do you accept cash or card?

Mary’s In The Park is a cashless event so please ensure you have everything you need to enjoy the event (including a fully charged phone!)

I no longer want to/can’t attend. Can I get a refund?

At this stage, our tickets are non-refundable as per our terms and conditions.

However, you can transfer your tickets to someone else via eventbrite.

Note: DO NOT sell or buy tickets via unofficial resale sites such as Viagogo, Tixel, TicketSwap.

Where does Mary’s In The Park take place?

General Admission & VIP ticket holders can enter via Rundle Road.

Whats the best way to get there?

There are some parking spots on Rundle Road, but arrive early to avoid missing out. Otherwise we’d suggest getting an Uber, Beam, Bus, Taxi to Rundle Road.

Can i bring a chair?

Unfortunately not sorry. We don’t permit any external furniture. But fear not, we have plenty of seating spots.

Whats the best way to get home?

At the end of the event please think about the neighbours and leave quietly.

General Admission ticket holders pls leave through the Rundle Road exit and VIP ticket holders you can leave via your dedicated Entry/Exit at Botanic Road.

At the end of the festival exit routes can become congested please be patient and follow signage and instructions from security who are there to help.

Can I bring a bag?

For expedited entry to Mary’s In The Park, we advise against bringing a bag. Nevertheless, if necessary, small bags smaller than an A4 piece of paper are allowed. Please note that bags larger than A4 size are not permitted due to security concerns, and there are no storage facilities available.

Can I bring food & drinks in with me?

Outside food and beverages, including alcohol, are prohibited at the event. However, we have food vendors conveniently situated on site, along with bars strategically placed in key areas. These establishments offer a diverse selection of alcoholic beverages, including options with low or no alcohol content, as well as a variety of soft drinks.

You can bring in a sealed water bottle or an empty plastic water bottle to use our refill stations.

Can I bring professional photo & video equipment in?

The use of unauthorized professional photography or filming equipment is strictly forbidden.

Prohibited Items at Marys In The Park?

The prohibited items are implemented to ensure the overall safety and well-being of attendees.

Forbidden items include:

  1. Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
  2. Alcohol brought in from outside the event
  3. Open, unsealed, or partly full bottles of water, juice, soft drinks, etc. (empty, sealed, or unopened bottles are allowed)
  4. Sealable pouches
  5. Glass of any kind
  6. Weapons of any kind, including knives
  7. Fireworks, flares, and fire-twirling paraphernalia (sticks, balls, etc.)
  8. Laser lights
  9. Milk/bread crates
  10. Video and audio recording devices, including Go Pros (except for mobile phones)
  11. Professional still cameras (small still cameras are permitted)
  12. Drones
  13. Protest paraphernalia and banners
  14. Skateboards
  15. Scooters, bikes, including e-scooters or e-bikes, or any motorized vehicles
  16. Culturally sensitive items and attire
  17. Clothing, jewelry, or accessories displaying the name of any motorcycle-related or similar organizations or any “declared organization” within the meaning of the Crimes (Criminal Organisation Control) Act 2009
  18. Strictly no animals, with the exception of service or assistance animals
  19. Any other items deemed illegal, offensive, or potentially dangerous.
Can I leave and come back?

Once you have entered the event, re-entry to the site is not allowed. Please ensure that you have all your necessary belongings with you upon entry.

In the event of exceptional circumstances requiring re-entry, kindly reach out to hello@marysinthepark.com no later than Monday, October 24, 2023, so we can make appropriate arrangements for you.

As this is an outdoor event, we advise you to come prepared for all weather conditions.
